Is this correct then? It reads like zero at idle car not running and think 35kpa running. NOt sure if the bar changes with the car running or not? Also how to I get proper boost showing when logging. Last edited by ak95ta; at PM.

  • My hondalogger is not reading the map right. Its reading way to high.

    I didn't calibrate or change offest on my 3 bar map. ideally you want to set the calibration based off an external vac/boost sensor or the actual. So who is using GM 3 bar map sensor?

    How does the calibration look like? Cheers Multiplier =? Offset =? Low Input volts =?. If a MAP sensor is not working properly or is out of calibration, the vehicle could be experiencing drivability issues that may be misdiagnosed as a 3 Bar MAP.

    Once the engine starts, the sensor reads fine.

    The main reason is to run a higher boost level than the current sensor is capable of measuring. However my map reads kpa at wot. If you remove this 3 Bar sensor and fit a 4 Bar, the new values are approx. My car is only going to 8psi max currently But there are all these pids making it confusing. Each sensor therefore needs to be Calibrated - it needs to be programmed into the ECU what the pressure reading is at a low point around 0 Volts, and at a high point around 5 Volts.
